The Business Intelligence developer position involves developing reports and dashboards using the Agile/RUP Methodology lifecycle for Enterprise wide BI applications.
This position will require some experience with SAP Business Objects XI 3.1, Xcelsius or compatible BI products.
REQUIRED
• BA/BS in a Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or technical field.
• Overall 10 years of combined experience in – BI, Data Warehouse, Oracle, SAP and/or Database development technologies.
• At least 2 years of data analysis and/or reporting experience using BI tools
• Two years of Microsoft SharePoint experience.
• Support the development of reports/dashboards using SAP/BO or Oracle Business Intelligence
• Experience with documenting the reporting and analysis specifications.
• Demonstrates strong experience with database based applications.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
• Demonstrates strong experience writing SQL, ability to create reports using BI tool.
• Knowledge of Data warehouse design and familiar with multiple formations of dimensional model.
• Demonstrates very good written and oral presentation skills and outstanding client-interaction skills.
• Work closely with the business analysts to design/develop look/feel of reports
• Work with the engineering group to ensure functional requirements are met
• Participate in Data modeling and BI architecture development process.
• Develop technical documentation (system requirements, functional/detailed design, etc)
• Thinks creatively and demonstrates the ability to work independently on a complex task with limited direction from supervision and management.
• The incumbent should be highly motivated, a self-starter, and able to work alone or in groups.
