ROLE: Informatica Architect
REQUIRED SKILLS: Informatica Architect for the data warehouse project – Responsible for the overall architecture, design and implementation of a high-performance, scalable data integration solution using the entire Informatica product suite (PowerCenter 9.x, B2BDT v9.x)
•Lead Informatica developers using PowerCenter v9.x to build a data warehouse that extracts and integrates large amounts of data from multiple XML, relational and flat file sources and stores it in Oracle and Greenplum databases
•Provide deep technical knowledge of data integration, ETL, data warehousing, databases and other related technologies.
•Collaborate with client and project team to ensure that the Informatica ETL framework is developed in conformance with SDLC and EIP standards
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a team of Informatica/ETL developers ensuring conformance to SDLC and EIP standards (20%)
oDesign Informatica ETL framework with performance, reusability and maintainability in mind (20%)
oDevelop ETL code using Informatica product suite (50%)
oCollaborate with Client SMEs, Iand other vendor teams (10%)
The following are required skills, in addition to the below table’s list of basic qualifications:
oStrong Informatica Suite experience (PowerCenter, B2B Transformation, Data Quality, Metadata Manager, Power Exchange) and ETL architecture, performance and development experience
oStrong relational database design concepts and hands on SQL programming
oStrong interpersonal and communication skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Must havea 4 year degree.
